So today I decided to sell my land after shedding a few cyber tears… Many reasons why, but I realised that for now I just don’t need or have the time to do all the things I want to. As soon as I put my land on the market for a good price, I heard a ‘chink’ and was shocked! It took less than 30 seconds to sell.
I am now a happy bunny, and still have my pub which is half done.

Just to clarify for kfh, she dumped the wrong parcel (10K sq.m) for L$20,000. When I showed up to return the parcel (it was an obvious mistake) I made her a fair offer on whatever land she wanted to sell, she sold me about 17K sq.m total and I helped her re-arrange what she wanted to keep for her club within the tier limits she was going for.
It is a distinct pleasure to recommend to you the Super Babenco Brothers. I have had the pleasure of doing business with the esteemed Yohan Pintens, and could continue on with more glowing accounts, but will instead simply say that I really do think the world of him and respect him greatly. She was trying to transfer an absolutely beautiful 4096 into a group and sold it for $L1 to Anyone. My landbot picked it up and I saw this in the log this morning. The odd thing was I had no notecard or other contact from her. So of course I contacted her to see what was going on, and of course returned her land and told her how to accomplish putting it in group.

So folks — always even if it is a landbot you know does not return mistakes, definitely drop a notecard on them and ask for it back!
Yes that was really good of you to do that! And so rare in people. I really did need that money also.. I am looking for a plot by the sea so if you find something pleae do let me know.

With all of the bad press that Landbots get I figured it was about time that I posted a few of my thoughts on the subject. For anyone that doesn’t know me I have been selling land on the mainland for the past couple of years. In the last 12 months I have sold alot of land and priced 1000’s of lots. Over time the possibility of making a mistake is incredibly high. In that period I have priced 4 lots incorrectly and have luckily had all four purchased by “Landbots”. The first two times were on the same day almost a year ago. After pricing tons of 1024’s I was tired and incorrectly priced two larger pieces in a row. Elantihus Flagstaff got them in like 2 seconds after making the mistake. Both we’re promptly returned and I have nothing but good things to say about him and Skye!! The last couple have been the past couple of months and both we’re recovered by the Super Babenco Brother’s. The most recent being a round of pricing 512’s and not splitting the last 1024 and setting it for the 512 price. For the second time the Babenco Brothers promptly returned my land. These are very good people and a service to SL. People that say bad things about “bots” must not know these guys. I can’t say it for all or other bot runners or owners as I haven’t dealt with them, but I can say great things about Elan & Skye, and the Babenco Brothers. Thanks again you all for being such stand up people!!

It is the RIGHT THING TO DO, to return land when sale settings were made in error. However, I hear nothing about the tragedy of losing items and having to rebuild!
Errors are human and no one should be penalized. Really Linden Labs needs to have a secondary backup for land transactions. Some sort of drop card that asks the seller “Do you really want to sell? YES NO and if the seller is offline then the sale does not go through until they have clicked on the secondary YES. This would go a long way in solving the problems with Bot usage.
Since Yohan sounds like a nice person, I won’t ban him from my charity lands, but all bots are banned until Linden Labs develops a secondary backup. Also BOTs cause additional lag with the scanning every two seconds.

Couple things to note,
You have to click 8 times to sell the land as it is, do you think a 9th click would really solve anything?
I’m not sure how you ended up losing objects, Our system is to not remark the parcel for sale or return any objects until we’re fairly certain it was not a mistake to be returned. I can’t speak for how any other operators do it.
As far as your comments against landbots, you’re definitely entitled to your opinion but these arguments have been hashed out many times in the past. This site is not the proper channel to be marketing anti landbot propoganda (as The Super Babenco Brothers ARE landbots owned by Yohan) And we maintain this resource for those needing information on how to handle errors.
Also, banning bots does not affect their ability to purchase land, they can purchase from anywhere in the sim.
and Lastly – The names you tried to post although appreciated is not accurate of those operating landbots. Being in a group does not really mean much. Check out the directory for a fairly comprehensive list of operators and their bots.

Tnx guys, made a stupid mistake where a sero on my numpad dont work so sold my land for 1 instead of 10 the meter i was aiming for.
In no time the issue was setlled with the Babenco brothers!

A big thank you I think is overdue already from me because of a silly / daft / etc. blunder I made this morning, selling over 1500 ms of land for 3999 L$ I realised it was my fault and luckily the star of the Show Yohan Pintens sorted the problem out admirably, selling me back the land for the erroneous amount. It didn’t stop there though, he noticed my troublesome neighbours and moved me out swapping my land for lands in his ownership thus making my day….

After rezzing a few gigantic beads of sweat/tears of agony, I was abruptly interrupted by [1:06] Yohan Pintens, who disturbed me with… wanted to sell my land back to me??
Well suffice to say I was more than a little impressed. Maybe ‘bots aren’t as evil as everyone says?
So, I set up land to sell and set a 48sq m plot to sell for 500L… not realising it was somehow attached to a 1024sq m aswell… Yohan saw the error, and IMd me, after I thought there would be no hope… and sold the land back to me for 500L so i could set it up right. Many many thanks and appreciation goes out!
