Today this guy picked up a 3072sqm parcel for L$1 and then immediately dumped it to the bots.

Apparently he picked up the parcel at the same price it was sold to you for. I’ve personally seen this happen on more than one occasion where I pay for a parcel, take ownership of it and seconds later ownership changes again to another bots group (usually yours). It seems the for sale bit does not get unset before the second bots buy packet arrives. So sometimes it does pay to come in second place.
Just a quick note to say that by mistake my half sim some how was bought by a bot here for 45K *sighs* very stressed out … … The guys here were able to sort things out and give it back to me for 45K. THANKS AGAIN GUYS for being cool and giving it back!
Today, I had what I thought was a horrible experience. I was trying to trade my land from myself to my group. I put it up for sell for 1 Linden. I had no clue about land bots and as soon as I place the land for sale it was bought by a bot. I was so SAD. I thought it was gone. Well, later I received an instant message from the bot owner and she offered to give me my land back because it was a mistake that I sold it. I could not thank her enough for being so honest and giving it back to me. Thank you for making my day.
After a wee mistake… it took a split second for a freak land bot to swoop up my parcel I was trying sell. After contacting Muratus Losangeles and explaining what had happened he promptly returned my land. Thank God for ethical business owners in SL, thank you Muratus.
I am so thankful there are people,like Muratus who can see when a genuine mistake has been made and will help and return land. I could not believe how instantaneously

Well, I guess timing is everything and my timing sucks. Muratus is no longer returning land thas was sold cheap by mistake. Muratus’s bot Freak Garside bought my parcel for $1L. A friend was helping me transfer it from group to myself. He found this site and told me to contact Muratus, that it seemed I would get land back based on the comments he read here.
Well, as it turns out, Muratus is upset with Linden Labs because he wrote a bot that would freeze another land bot when it was on his land. I guess LL felt this was land bot abuse and he got banned for a day. So Muratus now feels differently and no longer returns mistakes. ” k, Since LL only protects the bad people of SL. I will no longer return any mistakes. Sorry, but your a victom of LL’s screwed up actions”
Hard expensive lesson for me.
Well, Let me clear the air a bit toward that last comment.
First off The ONLY bot my freeze bot was after was Hana, We all know Hana doesn’t return mistakes. Several of the posts on this page are about land I returned as a direct result of taking Hana out of the picture!
For my troubles of giving a crap about others in SL, I got a one day ban.
So the Freeze bot is gone for now, but my new theory is if LL is going to protect the Scum of SL more then the good few (If there are any left). I will join the scum. You know the old saying “If you can’t beat them Join them”.

I usually dont blog but I have to on this subject as the whole thing of LL code is actually stupid because LL lets people make bots and supply the code then Punish the good people for helping the community, Common people it was his land and the option of FREEZE is avalible to all in SL.. So why have FREEZE avalible if you carnt use it that would be my first question? 2nd he froze a bot i am starting to think this Hanna bot is actually a LL employee. Anyway I think Murtaus should now do what the hell he wants all this returning mistakes does not pay in the eyes of LL so why bother. Unless they state in TOS “Users must return mistakes” its rather like pissing in the wind.
I think you guys should all make your bots like Auto Oh and the other main group that uses this option, to buy & relist save all the messing around.
I have traded with muratus for well over 12months now and I can assure everyone he is a fair person not like most noobs in SL.
Freezing her also allowed for you to get the deals and profit that you were competing for halting her business even though she is unethical. What set the two of you apart was the fact that you were more honest and seemed to care for the community by giving back errors. Now you’ve chosen to become her. That has no impact of Linden Labs the ones your upset with, that only hurts individuals with no involvement in the situation what so ever. Your responsible for your own actions and you can’t honestly feel right wronging others and making a profit in the process. Thats not Linden Labs doing it’s your own and it’s a poor excuse for doing this to people. This whole thing is rather shocking to me because I’ve always viewed you as one of the good ones in land. You’ve been good to me before and I guess I just didn’t see this coming. I hope once you get past your anger you go back to the good reputation your known for.
You know, LL is eventually going to deal with this. They got the banks. They got the ad extortion. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see the trend.
Muratus – dunno, man, I’d hate to have to associate your name with this sort of stuff. You and I were shoulder to shoulder against this sort of nonsense. Hate to see you switch sides.
2 Points that have been missed by people when talking about my freezing of Hana.
1. In order to freeze her I had to own the land she was on, which meant I had to beat her to the land and purchase it first. I was beating Hana regularly, and that’s how I was able to keep her frozen so much.
2. I would keep Hana frozen even after I took my landbots offline.
I was not just freezing Hana to reap more profits or whatever. I was doing to help people. That was my main thought behind it.
Now Hana is also pulling the repricing trick to rip people off. My bots went after a 2560 lot that was priced at 20480, when they got there they bought a 2560 lot for 51k from Hana.
So once you figure out who Hana really is, and all the low down dirty crap LL lets her get away with then we’ll talk.
The stuff LL has done to the search to limit bots has actually helped them, and also majority of time normal people don’t ever see how much cheap land and mistakes come up. Not like before the landbots, when we all could see that. And no matter how good landbots can cover the search there is always lands they miss.
So very truthfully who really knows who’s keeping and not keeping mistakes.

Your points are invalid, Plain and simple you are knowingly ripping people off.
You have no control over LL, or Hana or any other bot operators, what you do have is control over your own actions. You have chosen to take the path of a thief and that is your choice, But when people call you on it don’t try and make excuses.
You simply cannot continue to knowingly rip people off and consider yourself honest about anything. You are simply not an honorable person in any way as far as I am concerned.
I have no doubt you’ll get exactly what you have coming to you in life. Pretty amusing watching you try and justify your wrongdoing with speculation.
Well Mr Muratus, I have to hand it to you, like the others I did not know anything about land bots, never even heard of them until I made a simple mistake today which allowed you to grab my land. Of course I sent you a nice IM at first IM asking for help, and its return, which you refused to answer. Finally I ended up buying back my land from you for almost my whole weekend paycheck, which I earned honestly, unlike you. Am I angry, extremely, but I know you are cleaver enough to not be caught. I even called the Lindens on the phone, and they know all about you and your group, the lady that answered had some choice words for what you are, but she said there is nothing they can do, so congratulation on being a very successful thief. Of course people like you always pay in the end, in RL, in SL or in the next world, you might want to keep that in mind as you steal from honest people.
I was made aware of a large property gained by freak bot in Tigerclaw yesterday. I had purchased several small properties in that sim but was later contacted by the original owner who lost 1/4 of a sim because of the database not updating that the land had split. Freak bot got 1/4 of sim for less than $5k. In the past I have purchased land from Mr. Muratus but I will no longer be purchasing land from him. I am sorry that you have made this decision to use LL as an excuse to steal land from SL residents. I purchased your land in the past because I was fairly sure you have always returned mistakes but it is clear now that is not your policy. The easy thing for you to do is is not return mistakes…the right thing and hardest thing is to take the high road and correct mistakes made. Especially considering the database issues LL has been having.
Now, I was charged yesterday for one of Mr. Muratus properties that did not transfer ownership and he quickly refunded me the money no questions ask…I just don’t agree with your change in policy to screw SL residents.
Someone bought a parcel from me today and after playing with the terra decided they needed something flatter. They wanted to trade for an equal lot I had in the same sim. I said sure, just set the lot to me at either 0L or the price you paid and I’ll buy it back and do the same. They were fairly new and didn’t quite understand setting land to a specific user and set the lot for 1L. Bots bought instantly. Freak had gotten it, so I messaged Muratus who set it to me at 1L right away.
Ah, Mr Freakbot, what a lot of self serving rationalization you offer up for your greed. Your victims are really LL’s victims, hmm? So give Linden Labs the profits, you slime bucket!
Your previous incarnation as an “ethical” land thief notwithstanding, your current actions tell the real tale. And if your specious claim of LL responsibility is some comfort to you, then you are living in a deeper fantasy than most SL residents. But more likely, your bottom line is your comfort, you greedy hack.

Freak bots strike again,
They purchased a 24K sq.m parcel from Shelbyjo Avro for 1L, she was trying to transfer the parcel to herself, Muratus’s bot repriced the parcel instantly for 3.6L (104,336K) And sucker me purchased this one manually. ShelbyJo attempted to contact Muratus numerous times with no response. In the end I sold her back the parcel for what I paid and she is out 104K.

Ran into another incident of Muratus buying land for L$1 and then dumping it to the market super cheap. In this case the parcel was Innisallen (199, 119) and he sold it on to Timo Daehlie.
As mentioned above i picked up this plot from the land list not aware of the fact it was stolen by a bot. Currently i hold the parcel, which is also set not for sale, and i coorporate fully with the previous owner in oder to find the best solution with them.
Yeah well if i can have anything to say about it.. you and these other ppl will pay for stealing it.. and all the reports have been made and will continue to be closely involved with Linden Labs.. till the money that i owed to me will be paid back……. How can you let someone use a bot to buy land and not Im the person after back to explain to them if they contact you… you had no responce to my IMs Mr. Elantius Flagstaff so to me you are just as fault…. the bot had yours and your partners name in its responce… SO what NOW.. how do i get my money back that you owe me? or does LL have to take it all from you

I was hit by the HANA CAMPESE bot yesterday, because I did a mistake myself (stupid me).
Anyhow, in RL you dont steal land, in SL you dont steal land. There is still some code of business that should be followed in real or virtual lifes.
LL should take action on bots and ban everyone who owns there groups + cancel the accounts immediately without a chance for discussion.
This is the only way that will keep bots away from SL.
Lets see then who will have a laugh moving forward, if they loose thousands of sqm land ;o)
