This directory contains current known landbots, and their operators in case you need to contact one for assistance or to know how to have mistakes corrected.
Generally the ‘bot’ itself doesn’t interact with other avatars directly other than accepting IMs and notecards. A Handler (an alt account) will generally handle returns. Where known, handlers are listed – for best results however use the contact information provided.

*Landbaron Merlin is probably the most notorious landbot due to the large amounts of land purchased but never returned. About the same time merlin ‘left the game‘ Celene Ballinger showed up and is thought by many to be the same person but a different account. (Note this account no longer exists in search)
** Landbot Merlin appears to be alive, is definitely a bot, but association is not known.

i got “bot” by a landbot Landbaron munster
about 2 months ago got it back but i imagine if it was a larger parcel i would still be waiting…
but i dont think we need to make new rules in SL life is risk
with out that our new would is sunk and what would stop LLs from doing other stuff like banning public sex or forcing
age varify on all parcel even making it cost to make an account again if we bi**h to much we might get more then we asked for and LLs always takes the eazy route its up to us to make a good non imposing stance on the issue
You know, I find this whole landbotting thing sad. I spent over $3000 USD to buy almost the whole sim of Milmeranda. It was used to run a business that I had at the time. We had divided the land into 512 parcels to sell the land that we weren’t using. Landbaron Merlin swept in within a few minutes and owned it ALL. No msgs were returned, Linden’s didn’t care, and I was at a total loss. The transaction showed up as a sale for 0L – which NONE of the land was marked for sale for that price.
